My path into real estate wasn’t smooth—it was carved out of hardship, resilience, and a stubborn belief that I could create something better for my family.
What first pulled me into real estate was my grandfather. He was a contractor, and I spent much of my childhood trailing behind him on job sites—building homes out of stone, walking on rafters, scared but excited. Construction felt like home before I ever understood what a career was.
So when I became a young adult, I naturally went into construction myself. After bouncing around different states, I eventually returned to Wisconsin to keep working in the field. That’s where I met the mother of my children: Lachelle and Anthony.
Over the years, while doing construction, I purchased some buildings of my own, ending with fifteen and twenty seven units. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was slowly becoming an expert in real estate transactions. Friends kept telling me I should get my real estate license, and honestly, the idea made sense—but what pushed me over the edge was one especially disappointing experience with a REALTOR®.
I had been interested in a commercial building, but the numbers didn’t look great, so I backed out. The REALTOR® told me his company was going to buy it themselves if I didn’t. Because of that pressure, I went through with the purchase. Later, I found out they never intended to buy it. He just wanted the commission. I promised myself that I would never operate that way. I’d never manipulate someone or disregard their financial well-being.
Once I got my license, the start of my real estate career was brutal. I suddenly found myself a single father. I was making $17,000 a year and, as a single father, we were struggling.
Switching brokerages helped a lot. My business picked up, and I finally had the structure I needed. But I was working constantly, and my kids needed their dad—especially Anthony, who has Autism and required extra attention. I started flipping homes with a business partner, hoping it would give me more time off, but it was an expensive business to carry.
Those were rough days. I fell into depression and felt completely lost. No matter what I did, it seemed like I couldn’t catch a break. Somehow, I navigated that season and came out of it with hard-earned experience.

Life began to turn around when I remarried and moved to Washburn. I returned to selling real estate with a renewed mindset. I teamed up with another agent and opened a real estate office, and our business grew steadily. In 2019, I opened my own office—and to my surprise and gratitude, 99% of my previous clients followed me. I hit the ground running with 130 listings and at one point I alone carried over 150 listings!
I now have two younger kids who are the light of my life—Lucia and Beau—they are incredible and love school.
I love fishing and spend as much time as I can on Lake Superior.
We spend a lot of our time and energy helping our community thrive and pro bono assisted in finding property that shelters the homeless in our area. This also includes animals in need of homes by donating and volunteering for the Chequamegon Humane Association.
Looking back, it’s been a long road—messy at times and full of rebuilding—but my love for real estate and my clients hasn’t vanished. I’m grateful to be where I am today, doing something that I truly love.
With 35 years of experience as both a REALTOR® and an investor, there’s very little I haven’t seen—and nothing I haven’t been able to solve. I’ve seen every kind of scenario, and I’m known for finding out-of-the-box solutions that make even “impossible” transactions possible. My clients’ wellbeing truly comes first. I take pride in absorbing the stress and handling the problems so they can move through an emotional process with less worry.
I’m committed to offering the highest quality of service. Michele, my full-time marketing expert, works exclusively on promoting our listings—something almost unheard of in our industry. If you’re selling, her work ensures your home gets maximum exposure. We use professional photography, expert staging, and even assist with decluttering or removing items through estate sales, all so our clients can sell quickly and for top dollar.
I answer my phone, communicate clearly, and provide the information my clients need to make well-informed decisions. The end result is, I’m here to protect their best interests and make the process as smooth as possible.
Sincerely,

Anthony Jennings
