Did you know Ophelia means “help” in Greek? Did you know that?! I find it a little ironic because I need YOUR help. Yes, you! I’m looking for a specific home. You see, I’m a shy gal, but very sweet. It takes time for me to warm up! But I promise I warm up! Now, at the shelter, when I see my people I just start purring! You don’t even have to touch me! I just love you right when I see you. I’m just a little shy and slow to get there. All I need is time, and hey, someone has to have time, right? Isn’t there a worldwide pandemic or something like that going on? I’m not sure what that means, but I have heard that you humans have a lot more time on your hands, and that’s perfect, that’s all I am asking for really! I’d love to do fun things with you too! Like listening to the song “Ophelia” by the Lumineers, if they’re your type of artist. But I’ll listen to anything with you! My name is Ophelia and I’m a 1 year old female. Also, check out my black nose. Isn’t it cute? I would do okay with cats that give me space and I still need to be tested with dogs. If you have the time, and apparently you all do, to just love me and give me a chance to come around, I will be sure to be your new best friend! Apply here!
